Android 2.1 update now official for Samsung Galaxy Spica
Samsung’s cheapest android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Spica will now officially get the official Android 2.1 update. All Samsung Galaxy Spica owners need to do is download the latest Samsung Studio PC 7 and run the software updater to get Eclair on their Spica.
The Android 2.1 update will initially be available for Germany but the rest of the world would soon follow. But if you can’t wait, you can always download the unofficial version and update at your own risk. Unofficial version can be found here.
